The ground
Chandrasekharan Nair Stadium sits in the heart of Palayam. It opened in 1956, was rebuilt with a synthetic athletics track and gallery for the 35th National Games, and is the Super League Kerala home of Thiruvananthapuram Kombans FC. Seating is published as about 20,000 after that rebuild, and as 30,000 in other listings.
