Thiruvananthapuram Kombans FC (TKFC) was founded by a consortium of sports-loving members from the city’s business community, with a mission to bring top-quality football back to the capital. The club competes in the Super League Kerala, an initiative of the Kerala Football Association approved by the All India Football Federation (AIFF).

The club functions under the patronage of Princess Gowri Parvathi Bayi, Dr. Shashi Tharoor, MP, Jacob Punnoose IPS, former DGP and State Police Chief, and Minister V. Sivankutty, Hon’ble Minister for General Education and Labour, Government of Kerala, who also serves as the President of the Thiruvananthapuram District Football Association.

TKFC’s operations are guided by an Advisory Board chaired by Dr. M. I. Sahadulla, CMD of KIMS Health, and G. Vijaya Raghavan, Founding CEO of Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram.

TKFC’s management is led by K. C. Chandrahasan (Managing Director), along with fellow Directors T. J. Mathew, R. Anil Kumar, N. S. Abhayakumar, and Terance Alex. With a long-term vision to establish its own football stadium within the next 3–5 years, the club continues to build a strong foundation for professional football in the capital.

To further its mission of promoting sports and youth development, the Kombans Sports Foundation, a Non-Profit company, has been established as the club’s outreach and development arm. The foundation focuses on grassroots football training, community engagement, and the creation of opportunities for talented young athletes from underrepresented backgrounds to pursue various sports disciplines.
